Hi
I wans't sure what forum to post this on - but thought this might be an okay place.
I'm not familiar with MCSE or the like, so I might need step-by-step instructions on how to solve this problem.
I got a Security Warning on my desktop wallpaper saying that a fatal error in IE has occured at a particular time in VXD VMM(01) + 00010E36. Error was caused by Trojan-Spy.Smithfraud.c
* System can not function in normal mode.
Please check you security settings.
* Scan your PC with any available ativirus / spyware remover program to fix the problem.
Well I did all it said to and got rid of the impending stuff, but now when I right click on the desktop and select Properties, I don't have all the tabs up top (e.g. wallpaper, etc). All I get are Screensaver and Settings. The wallpaper at the moment is still the default blue with the above text in the middle of the screen. How do I enable all the Properties back again?
Can someone help - I'm a designer and can't go on with this hideous wallpaper!!
I look forward to your assistance.
Many thanks in advance,
CL8'N
