SLOW internet explorer

I have tried SO many things to fix this problem. I have ad-aware, spybot, hijackthis, norton antivirus, etc... i've sent in a hijack log before on another thing like this and someone gave me some things to try and it was all useless, didn't help. I was hoping someone could help me here! :-| My internet explorer is so slow, sometimes I can't get to pages, or hafl the page will load and then refresh itself. PLEASE help! And when you do, please use easy terms because I can use a computer and know a little bit, but not enough to understand the big terms! :o Thank you!

Hi there. You have a few problems there so we'll see what we can do. The next is perhaps the most important, so please follow exactly.

Unzip HJT into it's own permanent folder before doing anything in order for it to create backups. (Not a temporary folder or directly on the desktop & not directly on your hard drive). Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' :

HOW TO: Click My Computer, then C:\ In the menu bar, File->New->Folder. That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis". Now you have C:\HJT\ folder. Put your HijackThis.exe there, and double click to run it.

Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & navigate to & delete the following if found:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\pidcm.exe< file

In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log plz.

Uninstall spyliller as its a very bad copy of an excellent free antispyware tool.

Try the fix that this user found http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/showthread.php?p=31686#post31686 & see if it helps any. Also, you may have lost the HJT backups as it is still in the temp folder.
