Hi!
I m using Windows 2000 professional built on NT technology, When ever I starts my PC it directly open the BIOS, After making some changes it run normally.
The Changes are as follow :
In the BOOT menu of BIOS option no 2. IDE Hard drive & Option no 4. Other boot device

For option No 2. I do it Disable & for 4. I do SCSU/ on board ATA Boot Device.

so on pressing Y after F10 I do exit from BIOS, then my pc restarts normaly but this things I have repeat again and again daily.

Though I don't have complete hardware knowledge I am doing it on instruction from one of my hardware guy.
So please give complete Guide for this problem, so i can work very fluently with my PC.
Hope I am going to get the response ASAP !!!

If the BIOS is not retaining its settings, try replacing the CMOS battery.
