Hello All,

I am currently running:

HP 8200mn
Linksys Wireless WRT54G Adapter
Vista 32-bit Home Premium

I receive the following error on the BSOD:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

tcpip.sys

Stop: 0x000000D1

It happens every other day while the PC in use or left idle.
I uninstalled the Linksys Drivers and reinstalled to no avail. Any other ideas?

-TIA

Check this out.

I installed the hotfix and it happened again. Any other suggestions? TIA

All I can think of is to make sure you have the latest drivers for the HP.

I checked all drivers in the device manager. All is up to date. Any other ideas?

Service Pack 1 ?

I am having exactly the same problem on an HP dv6500t, running Windows Vista Home Premium, Linksys Wireless WRT54G Adapter, and no Ethernet connection active. Frequentbut BSODs (with the same message)--usually when the machine is idle, but occasionally in mid-session. The Microsoft hotfix has been applied and does not seem to help.

Update: After reading several comments about this problem elsewhere on the Web, I removed ZoneAlarm (free) from my system and turned on the Windows Firewall as a malware barrier. Since that time (more then 24 hours), there has been *no* recurrence of the BSOD.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc? Perhaps, but it is good enough for me!
