HELP! My Asus M51E is in a "loop". On the latest Vista update (Sept 10), the install was being completed. I got to the screen that said "Please do not power off or unplug your machine. Installing update 7 of 7..... Unfortunately my laptop "self powered" down (part of the power saving?). Anyway....now it just restarts with "resuming Windows" and then goes back to the Installing 7 of 7 window. Then powers down and then does the same thing again.....for 3 hours now.

Any help?

Boot your computer from the Vista disk and do a system restore to the latest point before the updates.

You may want to change your power settings when it's plugged in to never sleep/hibernate or at least set it for after an hour or two.
