I have an issue with my Dell Latitude while typing running Vista, the laptop is slow in displaying the characters typed and misses letters constantly it is very annoying and frustrating I can type about 15 words and have to wait about 30 seconds for them all to appear on the screen does anyone have a fix for me?

What model and how much RAM?
I'd start with a virus/spyware scan.
