hi,
I am experiencing a strange problem , when I trace from
Start->Programs->accessories->Entertainment, at the entertainment tag I find that it empty and also I cant find two programs viz. paintbrush and calculator.any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

go to control panel,add and remove program and on the left add windows components ,in there you will find paint and cal ,to reinstall ,not sure about entertainment

Alternatively you could install Power Calculator and a different graphics editor like Paint.NET or Picasa.
