I just loaded Knoppix from a live CD.
It doesn't recognize my Lan connection or my sound
TheLan is onboard Marvell Yukon 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit ethernet adapter and my sound is Realtek High Def Audiok, also onboard.
I have a netgear router that I have 3 PC's through. I have tried to plug directly from my cable modem into my LAN and that doesn't work either.
Any suggestions?

Which exact version of Knoppix? Depending on the version, it may or may not have built-in support for your particular NIC and sound card.
