You have hijackthis in a temporary folder, please move it to a permanent folder of it's own, like c:\HJT\hijackthis.exe, so that it (and it's backups) don't get accidently deleted. After you've moved it, scan again, save the log, copy it, and paste it here (not as an attachment, please).

As Catweazle suggested, you should still try to get IE working properly as it is the only way to get your Windows Updates. You may run into other websites as well that need IE to access them.
