hint: virgin media IPs may be dynamic, but they hardly ever change. i think the same IP is assiugned every time, going by the MAC of the modem.

System repair breaks Windows Update. Its a known problem. I managed to fix it before using Dial-A-Fix http://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/Dial-a-fix Choose flush SoftwareDistribution then select to fix windows update and windows installer. Reboot.

a) the x1350 is crap. Vista eats quite a lot of its power for its nice windows anyway b) right click the shortcut for flight sim and under compatibility set it to XP SP2. Make sure to run it as an admin, c) is it patched and up to date?

agree that tony blair and gordon brown are both idiots. David cameron is worse though. There is no real alternative. kind of like the SNP as far as local stuff is concerned

DDR2 must be installed in matching pairs. Its DoubleDataRate. So if its not in pairs, it runs at half the speed and = an unstable system.

Java is easier to get started with and teaches better OOP principles. It also opens the door to developing dynamic pages, applications for mobile phones, java applets, etc.... C and C++ however, in my experience, seems to be more in demand. From Java its quite easy to transition to C++ …
