So as far as ive been able to tell, wxWidget basically allows for multi OS functionality and offers a few extra ways to handle things, other then that, is there a reason why you WOULD NOT want to use wxwidget?

anyone have any input on the subject?

As opposed to the dozens of other UI toolkits out there, with more or less portability.

If you already know another UI toolkit, and are happy with it's level of portability, then why bother with another one?

I remember it being a pain in the ass to install. Other then that, I'm very happy with it.
