I installed a joomla template and the search seems to be the only thing that is not working ,it a;ways comes up with a 0' for results where in in the back end can i fix this issue ? thankyou

I don't think this is related to the template. If you publish a different template, do you still get 0 results?

The Joomla search only searches content, and the few components that have search plugins. How much content do you have?
