Hi,

is there any API for historical dates on web that returns data in xml or json format. For example, I need to get importants events in history on todays day and show that events in my app.

Is there any good place to do it?

And if you know for some other useful API, you can also write it.

I don't know of any, but sounds interesting. Wikipedia has a "on this day" block. They have an API, but I don't know if that specific part is exposed.

Thanks for answer. I also need some kind of api for getting information about mobile phones, for example searching for only 'nokia' phones etc and then I get characteristics for each phone like camera, display, height... Is there any API like this?
