My sony laptop will no longer boot I get no splash screen with the BIOS I only get a blank screen I have unpluged the BIOS battery to hopefully reset the BIOS but this did not work. It appears the BIOS is not being read or is corrupted.

Take out the RAM. Do you hear beeps?
If you don't then the problem is the Board or CPU
