virus that causes annoying pop up window

I have a virus that causes a "system integrity scan wizard" window to pop up. In addition I also get a pop up window: "Warning: Your computer may have critical errors in windows registry and file system". The following is my hijack this scan. Can you help me get rid of this virus? Thank you in advance.

Sorry Steven but the fix is NOT that simple. The computer in question is obviously very infected as noted by numerous entries in the incomplete HJT log. The log is incomplete because the important TOP portion is not showing which would tell us the operating system, what version of HiJackThis was used and whether the scan was done in normal or safe mode. This must always be included when posting a log. When posting assistance this should be pointed out to the poster and an additional complete log requested.

Just stopping the one file noted in your post will not remove the infection, it will just stop that ONE file from starting. If the infection renames itself, which many do today, it will only rename itself and begin the process all over again. It is likely that changes have been made to the registry also, stopping that one file from running will NOT correct that either OR remove the infection. Additional steps and tools must be run to remove what was likely a Smitfraud infection.

All that being said, this thread is nearly 2 years old, the original poster did not return so while help is always welcome please look at the dates of the posts. One that is two years old has very likely been corrected by other means.
