It all started when my silly husband was on the computer and was clicking away and we got some spyware. I quickly repremanded him and ran the Ad-Aware 6.0 to remove it and then a Mc-Afee virus scan just incase. I also had to go into Add remove programs because some stuff got downloaded into the HD. To be more specific, a search bar client so I removed that. Ever since I did all of this the IE 6.0 search bar has never worked. The Yahoo Search bar campanion works fine. I went and redownloaded IE 6.0 thinking maybe that would help but still the same thing. Has this happened to anyone else befor? Does anyone know any way to fix this outside of reloading the entire operating system? I really do not want to wipe my hard drive as I do not have any way to back up my files. I have a Dell i86oo Laptop I am running Windows XP Home Editon Version 2002, Sevice Pack 2. Hope this Helps!
