laptop only boots in safe mode

hey guys, my sister asked me to help her fix her laptop, I don't really know the full situation but she said she downloaded something and her laptop restarted in safe mode and thats all she could start it on. i just rebooted her computer, up until the login screen everythiong was working fine and the blue screen of death popped up and it rebooted itself and when it loaded it asked how i wanted to boot it up, i guess this is why my sister could only boot it up on safe mode.

There is a nasty infection on board.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html) to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure to checkmark the Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Make sure that you restart the computer.

theres a problem with that crunchie, i can only boot the laptop on safe mode so i have no access to the internet whatsoever, so i can't update malware bytes.
