I have a two part question;

How would I go about restarting my Master Boot Record if I cannot read the hard disks?

Or how could I load the drivers for the hard disk controller, or is that even possible considering that the controller is integrated with the OS?

Im running Vista on a Toshiba Satellite x205-s7483.
