So I had malware (Virtumonde to be exact) and so I ran combofix and it removed the malware. Now my problem is that when I login to windows Explorer.exe does not start automatically I have to go into task manager and run it from there.
I was on another forum and they told me to check it shell = explorer.exe and it does.
So any ideas on how I can tackle this problem...
yes other .exe files do run...
Mabe this will do it...
Open My Computer.
Go to Tools>>Folder Options>>View.
Under "Hidden Files and Folders", uncheck "Launch folder windows in a seperate process". If it is unchecked already, check it....reboot...uncheck it...reboot again...good luck
