3kdad, Faranth might be right on this one (as well ;) ) but try searching for "*dll*exe*" (w/o the quote marks); nothin should show up, but if something does its a virus for sure as no such file type really exists. r u getting any other type of error screens/random …

as stated else where (by caperjack? not sure) iedll.exe is neither a normal file component of IE nor Windows (seeing how a true dll file is not executable) and as such your pc is likely infected with a trojan. do a search on the site for "iedll.exe" as well as …

1st off delete your cookies & temp files, including offline content. if your OS is windows search for the hosts file in the i386 folder, change its name (i.e. "hosts_old") & reboot sys. pls post resolution/update.

well, i'm not so sure about N dying out. granted, there's been times that 1 could hardly call them nimble, but i think theyve been drinking, let alone smelling, the coffee lately. i think it was a nice strategic move 4 them to buy SuSE, although we'll need to wait …

search for the "hosts" file in the I386 folder & rename it (like hosts.old or hosts.dec.03.2k3 or whatever), then clear cookies & cache. if prob persists ping whotv.com via DOS prompt (really a console window, no DOS in WinXP, ah but nomenclature dies a slow death...) to get it's ip, …

try deleting 'http://www.whatever.com' in the browser's location/address bar in replace it with 'ftp://255.255.255.0' - naturally replacing the ip addy as appropriate. Then user the browser as a Windows Explorer session (i know ur using OSX) where u just drag & drop files as needed, assuming u have the authorizations.
