i ve read SEVERAL posts in several forums .. i did a LOOOOOT of things to make this bug go out.. but NOTHING !

i BEG for help !!! :P !

here is what happens : i am using my PC all ok and SUNDELLY ! pop up the messege Generic Host Process for win 32 bla bla bla bla ! and mt STAR BAR ( bottom of screen ) it resizes to NORMAL... ( cuz i use it bigger than normal ) and my SOUND also stops ! it says i have NO sound card.... than i have to RESTART my PC .. so i can use it normally ... until it pops up again...

i know it has somethin to do with svchost ! ( even not knowin what the [Moderator's edit: please drop the profanity] is dat... )

First of all, we'll be able to help you much more quickly if you include the full and exact text of any error messages you get instead of just stating: "pop up the messege Generic Host Process for win 32 bla bla bla bla". Regardless of how cryptic the full information in an error message might seem; it can be helpful to us.

Your log does indicate some signs of infections, and I'll bet there are more "nasties" on your system than HijackThis is reporting.

- You have SpyBot installed. Make sure you have the most current version of the program and run a full system scan. Also do the following:

1. Run at least two or three of the following online anti-virus/anti-spyware scans and let them fix what they can:

3. Reboot into safe mode (you get to the safe mode boot option by hitting the F8 key as your computer is starting up)

- Open Windows Explorer, and in the Folder Options->View settings under the Tools menu, select "show hidden files and folders", and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and "Hide extentions for known file types".

- For every user account listed under C:\Documents and Settings, delete the entire contents of these folders (but not the folders themselves):

Important: One of the normal steps in eliminating malicious programs is to entirely delete the contents of all Temp folders. Given that, if any data that you care about is living in those Temp folders, you need to move it to a safe location now, or it will be erased along with everything else!

1. Cookies
2. Local Settings\Temp
3. Local Settings\History
4. Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

- Delete the entire content of your C:\Windows\Temp folder.

- Delete the entire content of your C:\Windows\Prefetch folder.

Note- If you get any messages concerning the deletion of system files such as desktop.ini or index.dat, just choose to delete those files; they'll be automatically regenerated by Windows if needed. Windows will allow you to delete the versions of those files which exist in sub-folders within the main Temp/Temorary folders, but might not let you delete the versions of those files that exist in the main Temp folders themselves; this is normal and OK.

- Empty your Recycle Bin.

- Reboot normally.

Post a new log for us to review after doing the above.

I didn't know that; you didn't mention it in your last post. Also- if you did do everything I suggested, your latest HJT log does not reflect that. I see no signs in the log that you've visited the online scan sites I linked to, nor do I see any indication that you've installed ewido or MS AntiSpyware beta.

ok sry to take ur time than....

i didnt installed some things cuz i tought it was useless.... here is what i did

1. i ran PANDA which encountred 2 viruses... now removed

2. i ran Adware which found 189 ^^ ! all removed

3.i ran Microsoft antispyware nothin gr8 came out of this...

4.i ran Spybot... which is werdly closin when i ask it to scan

5.i deativated the system restore, and tun the windowns in safe mode... than i checked for viruses and spyware ....

6. i installed several patches that i ve found in other forums ... windows patches , which were adiveces for ppl with this same problem...none of them say if it was solved... =z !

what should i do ?

by the way ... i want to learn MORE about PCs , so one day i can do like u and help others ! as a thanks to this forum !

Hi derekbka, how are you? First of all I will ask that you write in as understandable English as you can :). I do not understand abbreviations of words such as as is used in 'chat' talk. In return, I will respond as best I can.

Now, uninstall Messenger Plus as it comes bundled with LOP, the infection you currently enjoy :). You can reinstall Messenger Plus without the sponsor whenever you wish.

Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and uninstall 'Window Search', 'Window Searching', 'Lop.com', 'LOP SEARCH', 'Browser Enhancer', or 'Ultimate Browser Enhancer' if listed. You may be given a code to insert, do so and reboot when done. If not listed there, run the Lop Remover from:
http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/downloads.htm

You can also uninstall WhenU or WhenUsave from add or remove programs too.

Also, when you post your log, please hit the 'preview' button first to see how your post will look. If you check your last posted log, you will notice that it is broken up, making it very difficult to read. Can you make sure that future logs look like your first one.

i didnt find ANY of those things u said me to delet.... like the windons search and LOP ... well i didnt and i dont have any of those !

well..... i deleted ALL temp files ( i guess ) and ALL svshost BESIDES the originals ( those in system32 ) and i've been runnin all anti-virus and anti spyware programas i find

i am running ewido right now.... !

well..... i deleted ALL temp files ( i guess ) and ALL svshost BESIDES the originals ( those in system32 ) and i've been runnin all anti-virus and anti spyware programas i find

i am running ewido right now.... !

Did you run the LOP uninstaller seeing as you did not have those entries in add or remove programs?

Does anyone still read this thread? If so please help. I have almost exactly the same problem as debrekbka had. Was it resolved?
