a power rating below 300W will not run the card you are expecting to put in your PC. so don't forget to check the wattage on you present power supply. Also if the power supply does not have the PCi Express power connection your card would not work efficiently.

in windows me the commannd is winipcfg it should alos be on the start menu> accessories. Now here is the problem with windows me it give a lot of problem connecting to wireless. you would have to configure the wireless with the wireless card utility.

To add to that Vista, Longhorn really creeps in Virtual mode. I use VM ware. as for adding more memory you have to shut down the VM then edit it select the memory setting and move the slider to what you want the VM to use.

if you install Linux first will will delete the drive or corrupt your linux installation UNLESS you have a separate partition to install windows. so follow Jbennet advise Windows first, then linux Ubuntu. This is a very nice operating system. I love it.
