Looks like it's down to MBO, CPU & PSU. Did you try to reconnect the power supply cables to the MBO. You did mention that you "tucked the wires away". Maybe you just loosned the power socket on your MBO.

Re: help

I'm afraid that you will have to be more specific about your problem and your rig. It looks like it is a hardware problem. Could be number of things. CPU, PSU, memory, mobo, VGA card...any of those. Helpful thing would be if you posted any recent alert logged in event …

Are there any beeps comming from the beeper? If the vga is causing the problem you should look for jumper to by-pass the on-board vga and plug in that other one.

Your HD is getting full, plus the free space is frgmented, making the copying routine doing more of the searching for the free spots on your drive than copying. Loosen up some space and defragment the drive. I recommend Executive Software Diskeeper. It has more abilities than any other defragmenter …

This might help: Press del key when booting to get to the bios settings menu (if that doesn't work try f2 or f10) Select somthing that sounds like "LOAD DEFAULT BIOS SETTINGS" or "LOAD DEFAULT SYSTEM SETTINGS". Later one is advised. Save the changes. Plaese post any further questions.

This config is OK (2 HDs 2 Chanels). Only flaw is that it is Western Digital ATA100 200GB. Could be that your laptop configured itself to display on external monitor only. That happened to me while back. What you want to do is plug the monitor in (plug&play, baby) and right-click on your desktop (empty space), select properties, then click on settings tab. There you'll see an illustration …

That kind of problem any electition with soldetron would fix within minutes. What you're describing is more like a glitch than a malfunction. It's basicliy few wires between display and VGA (Video Graphic Array) not in their finest days. Nothing to worry about. Just take it to repair shop and …

Looks to me like your account is corrupted. Error 1000 suggests failed to load/create your account. Try loging on as a "administrator" (that's user name, password is yours to know) to create new account for your self and log on to that new account from now on.
