Virus Wont Let Me Update Malwarebytes

Help! When I try to go to an anti-spyware website on my desktop, windows XP, I get redirected to a web page the says it cannot find the website. When I run it on my laptop, it runs fine so I know it some sort of virus. Here is the log from HJT:

Try rebooting to Safe Mode with Networking and then try updating your McAfee and doing a full scan with it and then try MBA-M.
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBA-M) to your Desktop.

* DoubleClick mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install MBA-M.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When MBA-M finishes, Notepad will open with the log. Please save it where you can find it easily. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt.

Reboot the computer into Normal Mode and again run MBA-M. Let it remove all that is found.
Reboot again.
Run a new HJT system scan and save the log.
Post back here with the first MBA-M log, the 2nd MBA-M log and the new HJT log.

I did hit remove select and it restarted my computer but I saw they were still in the quarantine section and removed them from there. Should I run the scan again?
