 | What distributution are you using? In ubuntu go system -> administration -> folder sharing and choose to install SAMBA then just add the directories you want to share. This will let windows access linux |

| | yeah, file -> import/export chose export to file then choose whatever type suits you. my choice is .pst you can also select individual folders and create a password for your backup |

| | Yes, its most likely not the RAMs fault, its the fault of your , motherboard/bios (which im guessing is old). Getting the newest BIOS flash might help. (be careful, understand what you are doing and do not under any circumstances turn off your PC during it) |
