You will need a new PC. You cannot put a standard motherboard in an recent HP or Dell case as they are of a nonstandard form-factor and psu pinout.

What distributution are you using? In ubuntu go system -> administration -> folder sharing and choose to install SAMBA then just add the directories you want to share. This will let windows access linux

I dont get why you need Vista, a kickass pc and a mega-expensive DirectX 10 graphics card to play Halo2 on vista (which is being hailed as a big thing, wtf is that about, its an OLD game!) when it plays on my cheap Xbox from like 5 years ago

Yes, its most likely not the RAMs fault, its the fault of your , motherboard/bios (which im guessing is old). Getting the newest BIOS flash might help. (be careful, understand what you are doing and do not under any circumstances turn off your PC during it)

Did you rename HijackThis? rename it to something different like danwieb.exe and run it. Some spywares know when HJT is running so will try to block it.

If you like books, i can highly reccomend Visual Basic 2005 Step By Step by Microsoft Press. Its for the full edition of VB 2005 but works just fine in the freely downloadable Experess Edition. I am 17 and learnt from that book, its suitable for beginners.

Re: help

That is ridiculously easy. It will take 5 minutes of thinking or one google search to do. WE WILL NOT DO YOUR HOMEWORK FOR YOU. If your stuck, show us something (an attempt) and then we can point you in the right direction.

No, not for ubuntu. But you can use something called "shipit" on the Ubuntu website to get free CDs delivered to your door but it can take up to 2 months nearly. https://shipit.ubuntu.com/ ive never used it though.
