The hard disk is dead. They are very sensitve and die easialy. You will need a new hard disk + OS , in which case you would probably be better off with a new laptop

You have to use the AOL dialer. It keeps disconnecting because its set up so x minutes after the web browser is closed, it disconnects. This is to stop people running up hige phone bills by accident. This can be disabled

if you have big/high quality images it gets slow lots of java/javascript can make it slow ads can make it slow overloaded server/bandwidth can make it slow
